CTU's Eludo Playout System shortlisted for Content Innovation Award in Cannes.
CTU's Eludo Playout System has been shortlisted for the highly sort-after "Power Behind the Screen Award" alongside other contenders such as IBM Cloud, Reuters TV and Net Insight. This is one of the few times a smaller company has been recognised for innovations in this arena.
ELUDO (& Eludo Lite):
Eludo and Eludo Light are the result of innovative problem solving in live real-world scenarios. Both use intelligent stream processing to significantly reduce bandwidth usage in an industry where bandwidth consumption is a very real budgetary concern. The technology is not only focused on massively reducing bandwidth costs for broadcast companies, but also to open up the whole sector to broadcast opportunities in countries with poor technology infrastructures. Educational channels to schools and vital medical content to hospitals in third-world countries is just the beginning...
The award ceremony is to be held in Cannes, France on 16th October 2016.
